ABOUT SOUTH FLORIDA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
Founded in 1997, South Florida Symphony Orchestra (SFSO) is the largest professional orchestra serving Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties. Under the artistic leadership of Music Director Sebrina María Alfonso, SFSO presents a full season of Masterworks concerts, chamber music, opera productions, educational initiatives, and community engagement programs that reach audiences throughout South Florida and the Florida Keys.
SFSO is committed to artistic excellence, innovative programming, music education, and expanding access to live orchestral music. Through performances, Symphony in the Schools, community partnerships, and special initiatives, the organization enriches the cultural life of South Florida while inspiring audiences of all ages.
