Executive Service Corps- Florida is a nonprofit transforming communities through social impact consulting. We deploy retired C-Suite executives as volunteer consultants to help Florida's nonprofits build capacity. Services include strategic planning, executive search, board development, training, and process improvement (among others). The ideal candidate for ESC-FL’s Business Development Executive has extensive experience and established relationships within the Tampa Bay nonprofit community. The ideal candidate will understand the value of our services, have a robust network of nonprofit contacts, and be able to connect us with organizations that would benefit from our support.
Although there is a small commission offered, this is not a sales position. This role is ideally suited for a retiree or semi-retired individual who is passionate about giving back, eager to stay involved, and interested in connecting nonprofits with essential, high-quality consulting services at a low cost.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience working for or serving on the board of a nonprofit, foundation, or grantor.
Well-established network of contacts within the Tampa Bay nonprofit community.
Understands the value of offering top-tier consulting services to nonprofits that otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford them.
Actively supports Executive Service Corps- Florida’s mission.
Resides in the Tampa Bay area with the ability to work comfortably in a hybrid position, utilizing a home office setup, and possessing solid technology skills.
Willingness and ability to travel to networking meetings and events as required.
