Forty Carrots of Sarasota, Inc.

Founded in 1993, Forty Carrots Family Center (FCFC) is a nonprofit organization guided by the mission to nurture healthy child and family development through research-based, relationship-centered education and mental health services. Goals of FCFC include to 1) prevent child abuse and neglect, 2) ensure positive outcomes for children, 3) build a community of capable, caring, and respectful young people, 4) provide parents with information, skills, and support, 5) promote secure relationships between parents and children, 6) set the foundation for lifelong success. Goals are achieved through three areas of expertise: Parenting Education, Mental Health, and Early Childhood Education. Services are available for all families, regardless of ability to pay. 96% of the 6,097 unduplicated clients served last year received free services, primarily through parenting education and mental health programs.
